Messiah United Methodist Church
Luke Soneral is a Minnesota-based composer whose music immerses listeners in complex works of energy and playfulness. A "prodigious talent" with a "bright trajectory ahead" (Annapolis Symphony Orchestra), his musical philosophy engages in vivid imagery, lyricism, personal heritage, and folk music from around the world.
During the school year, Soneral attends Juilliard Pre-College, where he studies with Dr. Eric Ewazen. In addition to his compositional studies at Juilliard, Soneral plays piano and double bass with the Symphony Orchestra of the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies.
Teresa has been playing with the Encore Wind Ensemble since 2007 and enjoys performing across the United States and internationally. She also loves serving and performing at her church as part of their music team. When not performing, Teresa teaches music at Woodcrest Baptist Academy and Bethel University and also maintains a private studio.
Teresa earned her Master’s in Horn Performance from the University of MN and has had the privilege of studying with Herbert Winslow, Michael Gast, Bernhard Scully and Dr. Lin Folk. In her spare time, Teresa enjoys spending time with family, playing games with friends, and coaching volleyball.
