Tony is the principle Trumpet for Encore Wind Ensemble

Jan Possehl Scholl - Vice President

Jan has played in the clarinet section of Encore Wind Ensemble since 1998. She is a graduate of Concordia College and Catholic University of America and was a member the United State Army Band, "Pershing's Own", in Washington, DC for 22 years. Presently, she plays clarinet throughout the Twin Cities, teaches elementary band in Forest Lake and is the clarinet instructor at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. She has two grown children and lives in White Bear Lake with her husband Jeffrey Scholl.

Gigi Decker - Treasurer

Gigi is a “medically oriented” massage therapist and church accompanist in Woodbury. She has owned her own business and helped out other 501c3s in a variety of positions in her past, and so doesn’t mind a little number crunching. She enjoys traveling, learning new things, snuggling her cats and crocheting. She is married to a semi-professional drummer and also has three grown children, one of whom is a semi-professional saxophonist in the Twin Cities.

Patricia Capistran - Secretary

Pat is a retired registered nurse. She plays clarinet with the North Suburban Concert Band. Pat's other interests include gardening, cooking and knitting. She also serves as the greeter for the Encore concerts.

Maggy Otte

Maggy plays oboe with Encore. She studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and currently works as a grant writer for CommonBond Communities, a nonprofit affordable housing developer.  She lives in South Minneapolis with her husband and two rabbits.

Teresa is the principle French Horn for Encore Wind Ensemble
